The Artist
Welcome! I'm Alissa- thank you for stepping into my gallery. Art has been my path since age six. Growing up in the Four Corners region of the American Southwest, I fell in love with the way color and light could capture a feeling — and the red earth, vast skies, and golden light of the landscape find their way into nearly every piece I create.
I work primarily in pastels. My paintings are rooted in the belief that beauty is everywhere — in a patch of afternoon sunlight, in the curve of a desert horizon, in a quiet, still moment. I hope when you look at my work, you feel a sense of peace — a pause, a breath, a rest in something beautiful.
